Chaat, a North Indian snack that is set to give your taste buds an explosion of flavours. Each type of Chaat has it's own unique taste that will keep you craving for more. Such is this dish Paani Puri, a cracklelicious snack that is filled with a tinge of spice and sweetness.

Located at a Family restaurant in Little India, Kailash Parbat is the place to go to enjoy authentic Chaats. This one snack especially is simply too good. With 8 of these in one platter served alongside sweet chutney and its light sauce. This dish makes me wish I was served more.

As you bite into this Paani puri having dipped it into the light sauce and spooning in some sweet chutney, you can feel your taste buds tingling. The crunchy texture of the outer shell made of wheat crumbles slowly while the chutney and sauce blend in nicely.

It's simply a must try! In the mood for some special North Indian snacks, dig in to this Chaat and more at Kailash Parbat now.

PS: Trick to enjoying this the best way - Open your mouth wide and shove it all in in one go.

  1. On your "FOUR FOOD DIMENSIONS" it's stated that one of the criteria is "CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE ($5 and below)". Wondering why you would blog about this if the dish doesn't fit the criteria.

  2. Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for not stating the reasons for including the dish, though the price was high.

This dish is authentic and the quality is very good. We felt that this dish was the exception, because of its appealing factor.

    Thank you.

  4. The photo above reminds me of baby turtles hatching out of their eggs. I love watching that on animal planet! Thinking of that almost brought a tear to my eye.

Thanks Cristie, for posting something that brings about so much emotions

  5. Is it very spicy? What kind of chutneys do they serve alongside it?
