The previous recommendation about this stall was actually about Queensway’s famous curry chicken. Today, I’ll be recommending their famous Katong Laksa that is sold only at $4.

The unique selling point of this Laksa is the fact that you do not have to eat it with the aid of chopsticks. This is because the noodles are cut in such a way that it will slurp to your spoon without the need for chopsticks. Thus for people like me who do not know how to use the chopsticks, fret not! You’ll still be able to enjoy this dish without any difficulties! :)

The soup of the Laksa is not only flavourful but also contains a tad bit of spiciness to ignite your taste buds. The cockles served with it is also fresh and do not have any unpleasant smell accompanying it. Together with the fishcakes, prawns as well as bean sprouts, it is definitely worth every cent of your money!

I’m not a fan when it comes to Laksa, so unless it really tastes good; the chances of me eating it again is very slim. However, this Katong Laksa makes me want to return to try it again! So head down now and try their famous Katong Laksa which was previously sold in East Coast! :)

  1. Haiyo, Wanyee, you so old already still don't know how to use chopsticks??? tsk tsk tsk.

The photo of the laksa does not look appetizing. It also looks like a very small portion... as I come from a family with poor background, we always share only one bowl/plate of food among the 5 of us. Do you think this $4 worth of laksa will be able to fill the empty stomachs of 5 people?

Please let me know by emailing me at cheapiefoodysbiggestfan@gmail.com.

    Thank you!
