Nasi Briyani
North canteen, Republic Polytechnic
Price: $3.50
Rating: 4.5/5 stars
Be it in shopping malls or hawker centres, most briyani meals
would approximately be $5 and above. However, this meal sold at the North
canteen of Republic Polytechnic costs only $3.50
Yes, it sounds cheap and most of you would go like CHEAP
FOOD WOULD NOT TASTE GOOD. But trust me; the taste of this dish is equally as good as
getting one that is more expensive. In fact, it is much tastier.
For those of you, who have a huge stomach to fill, do not
worry! A huge portion is served for its cheap price. The briyani rice is served
with pappadam, cucumber and a huge chicken drumstick. The gravy is sweet yet
spicy at the same time. After finishing the whole plate, you wouldn't mind
getting another one. That’s just how tasty it is!
