NASI LEMAK WILL BE YOUR FAVOURITE TOO!

Article and Picture by : Jamie Loo

Nasi Lemak aka Set B.

Located at: Republic Poly's Lawn, Nasi Padang stall.

Pricing: $2.50 (Eating there) / $2.70 (Take away)
Rating: DEFINITELY A 5/5!!!

Set B consists of what you see above, a chicken wing, nuts & ikan bilis, a sunny side up egg, awesome chili and rice. Some of you might fancy set A(Chicken is replaced by a fish fillet) too!

There is something about the chili and the way the chicken is being marinated that this dish it's reputation. Daily, this stall, which is also the first stall once you enter lawn form the main entrance, caters to a long queue of hungry and non hungry students.

I'm sure you have had chicken wings that go all soggy after taking it up to class, or back home right? But somehow this chicken wing manages to stay crispy and fresh! Always warm, I am always trying to guess what the secret ingredient in this dish is. Because somehow, I start hungry, and end hungry(This may or may not be a good thing).

One thing you might want to take note of is that the aunty would be giving you a big scoop of chili to be placed at the side of your pack, and you MUST NEVER stop her! Because the chili, whether you like chili or not, is the finishing touch of the whole meal, and is what makes it complete.

Not to mention it's pretty cheap for a whole meal with meat & a pill or satisfaction! I would eat this at least twice a week, if not more, so I guess you trying it would mean no harm at all!

Catch me in the line to get my Set B! ;)

  7. Yummy but unhealthy, don't you think? It may be ok for super toned people like you Jamie, but for people like me who is super fat and unhealthy to begin with, I'm sorry but I'll be sticking to a healthier choice.
